Reported Reason Why Murphy Kept-Off To WWE TV
WWE Smackdown Superstar Murphy was last wrestled on WWE TV on December 4th, 2020 against King Corbin, in which he lost, and wasn’t seen again. Now, Dave Meltzer revealed the reason for his absence in WWE television.
On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that currently WWE didn’t have any plans for Murphy and that’s the reason why he hasn’t been on WWE TV. Before his absence, Murphy had romantic storyline with Aalyah Mysterio and now, they don’t have anything fresh to bring him back as per Meltzer.
Meltzer also stated that Steve Culter’s situation hindered plans for Murphy. Steve Culter was released by WWE recently. He attended a New Year’s Eve Party, before testing positive for Covid-19 and Vince McMahon angered about this situation.
A while ago, Steve Culter was pulled out of WWE TV, which directly hurt Murphy as he was supposed to join forces with Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio to face King Corbin, Steve Culter and Wesley Blake on Smackdown.

After Culter taken off to TV, then, WWE scrapped the 6-man feud and that leads Rey and Dominik to take on King Corbin on blue brand. Corbin got victory over Rey and two wins against Dominik. At Royal Rumble, Dominik eliminated King Corbin and following episode of Smackdown, Dominik got huge victory against over King Corbin.
