WWE NXT Takeover: Vengeance Day will take place at WWE Capitol Wrestling Center (Performance Center) in Orlando, Florida. The main event of the show is ‘The Prince’ Finn Balor will defend his NXT Championship against Pete Dunne in Singles Match.

Men’s and Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament finals also will take place at the event. Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez set to face Shotzi BlackHeart and Ember Moon in Women’s finals and The Grizzled Young Veterans to face MSK in Men’s finals.

NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai also set to defend her title against Mercedes Martinez and Toni Strom in triple threat match and Johnny Gargano will defend his NXT North American Championship against Kushida.

• Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez defeated Shotzi BlackHeart and Ember Moon via Pinfall and became the first-ever winners of the women’s tournament. After the match, NXT General Manager William Regal handed trophy to them and they celebrated infront of trophy.

• Johnny Gargano defeated Kushida via Pinfall and retained his NXT North American Title. After the match, Johnny Gargano celebrated with Austin Theory.

• MSK defeated The Grizzled Young Veterans via Pinfall and won the Men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament. After the match, they celebrated with Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic trophy in the ring.

• Io Shirai defeated Mercedes Martinez and Toni Strom via Pinfall and retained her NXT Women’s Title. 

• NXT aired the video of LA Knight (Eli Drake) signing NXT contract earlier today with NXT General Manager William Regal. We also see the LA Knight cutting promo about his arrival to NXT during the pre-show.

• Finn Balor defeated Pete Dunne via Pinfall and retained his NXT Title. After the match, Finn Balor celebrating in the ring but NXT Tag Team Champions Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch came out and attacked Finn Balor. Pete Dunne also recovered and they triple teamed on Finn Balor.

Then, Undisputed Era – Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong came out and took out Pete Dunne and NXT Tag Team Champions. Then, Finn Balor and Undisputed Era poses in the ring but suddenly Adam Cole super kicked Finn Balor and Kyle O’Reilly wasn’t happy with. 

Little argument going between Kyle O’Reilly and Adam Cole, Roderick Strong trying to stop them but Cole super kicked Kyle O’Reilly. Roderick Strong looked confused while Adam Cole left the, Strong is stood in the ring, while Finn Balor and Kyle O’Reilly lying down. And NXT Takeover: Vengeance Day goes off air.
