WWE Royal Rumble 2021 Results: Drew McIntyre Defeated GoldBerg To Retain His WWE Title

The Iconic GoldBerg made a surprise return on Raw Legends Nights and he challenged Drew McIntyre for his WWE Title. But unfortunately Drew McIntyre was tested for Covid-19 positive but he still accepted the challenge to face the former Universal Champion GoldBerg.


Following week on Raw, The Miz and John Morrison taunted Drew McIntyre and GoldBerg by bringing Gillberg and fake Drew McIntyre and warned that at Royal Rumble pay-per-view he will cash-in his Money in the Bank briefcase.

On this week’s Raw, Drew McIntyre and GoldBerg returned and have intense confrontation but The Miz and John Morrison interrupted. Then, both the champion and challenger attacked Miz and John Morrison to show their dominance.
It was a short match, Drew McIntyre hits GoldBerg before the match started and both superstars brawled at ringside. GoldBerg hits Spear to McIntyre through the barricade. Mcintyre was in pain but match was started.

At the end of the match, GoldBerg hits Spear to Drew McIntyre and Jack Hammer. He tries to pin McIntyre but WWE Champion breaks the pin. Then, GoldBerg went for another spear, McIntyre blocks it and hits Claymore and pinned the GoldBerg to retain his WWE Title.
After the match, Drew McIntyre celebrated in the ring and GoldBerg looks like injured. Then, both the Superstars showed mutual respect by shaking their hands.
