Tonight’s Wednesday Night NXT is live from WWE Capitol Wrestling Center in Performance Center at Orlando, Florida. WWE NXT have announced that Kyle O’Reilly will kick-off for looking answers from Adam Cole, MSK and Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez will celebrate their Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament victories and Ember Moon & Shotzi BlackHeart will take on Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell.

– Tonight’s WWE NXT is opened with Kyle O’Reilly in the ring and talks about what happened at NXT Takeover: Vengeance Day. He always wanted Undisputed Era to be special but Adam Cole ruined it and calls out Cole to gave an explanation about it.

Music hits and Roderick Strong came out. Kyle yells that it isn’t about Strong and he wants Cole. Strong says Undisputed Era is still special and Cole regrets it later. Kyle says he wants Cole to explain not Strong and they both argued. Then, NXT Champion Finn Balor came out.

Finn says if Kyle wants Adam Cole then he needs to get in line behind him. Finn says they have business to address. He shouldn’t have accepted the Kyle’s hand and see now what happens. Then, Strong says Kyle had nothing to do with that. Strong and Balor at ringside and NXT Tag Team Champions Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch came out along with Pete Dunne and took down Balor and Strong. O’Reilly watching it from the ring and officials came out tp separate them.

– NXT General Manager William Regal at backstage and shows the video of NXT CruiserWeight Champion Santos Escobar. He says Karrion Kross threatened him and he’s going home. That match won’t happen tonight and it will happen on my time. 

Then, Regal says the match will happen next week and if Escobar doesn’t show up, he will suspended indefinitely and stripped of his title. And Regal announces the six-man tag team match for tonight – Finn Balor, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong vs. Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch.

– Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon defeated Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell via pinfall. 

– NXT aired the video package of Pat McAfee from his private jet. He says we’re seeing that Adam Cole is scumbag like he told us all long. He insults fans and says he accepts all their apologies. He also cuts promo about Adam Cole and teases his return in future.

– McKenzie Mitchell with Kushida at backstage and asks about Johnny Gargano and his NXT North American Title. Kushida says he’s not done with Gargano and his title. Then, Bronson Breed walks up and appreciated Kushida for his performance at NXT Takeover: Vengeance Day. Breed also says he’s not done with the title and when it comes to he and Kushida for the title then they would cross the line. Then, Malcolm Bivens walks up and appreciated Kushida and wants him to wrestle Tyler Rust.

– Leon Ruff defeated Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott via pinfall. After the match, Swerve attacked Ruff and asks where is his North American Title shot.

– Kayden Carter and Kacy Catanzaro defeated Aliyah and Jessi Kamea via pinfall. After the match, Boa and Xia Li appears at the stage. Kacy went near them and tries to talk friendly with Li but she grabs her arm and writes something on her arm in Chinese. Li says next week she’s going to hurt Kacy.

– Malcom Bivens and Tyler Rust at backstage. Biven talks about Kushida’s impressive performance but says Rust is better than him. Rust will take care of Kushida tonight because he’s not a rookie but a ‘Diamond in the Rust’.

– WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix in the ring and welcomes the 2021 Men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Winners MSK(Wes Lee and Nash Carter). We see the MSK name on the trophy along with other winners. We also see the Women’s winners name on the trophy. MSK talks about future NXT Tag Team title opportunity and names Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch.

Then, Beth asks MSK to join her to welcome 2021 Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Winners. And  here comes Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez. Beth asks about how they’re feeling. Kai says it feels awesome and says their are best tag team. Then WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.

Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler war of words with Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez. Gonzalez mentions that title match happens in two and they will make sure who runs the NXT. 

– At Parking lot, Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly arguing and went on their separate ways.

– Io Shirai at backstage and Toni Strom attacks from nowhere.

– Kushida defeated Tyler Rust via Submission. 

– We see the video package of LA Knight formerly known as Eli Drake. He cuts promo about NXT saying it belongs to him. There is no one is better than him because he won’t let them to be. That’s not an insult but it’s a fact of life.

– Zoey Stark defeated Valentina Feroz via pinfall.

– Karrion Kross cuts promo about Santos Escobar.

– Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch defeated Finn Balor, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong via pinfall.  During the match, Adam Cole interfered and attacked Finn Balor & Kyle O’Reilly. After the match, Cole superkicked Finn Balor and raises NXT Title high and NXT goes of air.
