The Undertaker retired from the in-ring competition last year and his final match came against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36. Undertaker also stated in many interviews that he’s done with wrestling and won’t return back to the ring.
WWE Hall of Famer Booker T recently discussed about The Undertaker’s Hall of Fame induction on his Hall of Fame podcast. During the podcast, one of the fan asked that it could be possible that Undertaker will be inducted into Hall of Fame next year as WrestleMania will take place at Dallas.
Then, Booker T believes that it’s the right time and there’s no reason to wait as The Phenom is already retired. He stated that it would be the perfect place to do it and crowd also will be back to the arena.
“I think it’s time. There’s no reason to wait, and you know, we know that’s the way the ballots go, The Undertaker is retired, his name has come up. Is he a first ballot Hall of Famer? Of course. I think that would be the perfect place to actually do it, the crowd’s going to be back in the arena, it’s going to be sold out, and it would be perfect time.”
This year’s WWE Hall of Fame will take on April 6th and both the 2020 and 2021 classes will be inducted into Hall of Fame this year. JBL, The Bella Twins, NWO, British Bulldog, Jushin “Thunder” Liger will be inducted into Hall of Fame as the class of 2020, while Kane, The Great Khali, Molly Holly and Eric Bischoff will be inducted as the 2021 Hall of Fame class.
