At Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, Lacey Evans scheduled to challenge Raw Women’s Champion Asuka for the title but that match was cancelled due to Evans pregnancy announcement. WWE Universe expected that other superstar will challenge Asuka the Elimination Chamber PPV but WWE taken off the title match from the card.
Now, Fightful Select revealed the original plans for Raw Women’s Championship. It was reported that original plan was to Lacey Evans win the Raw Women’s Championship from the Asuka at Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.
Then, the company wants Lacey Evans to continue feud with Charlotte Flair till WrestleMania 37 or possible beyond the Show of shows, which will take place at Raymond James Stadium on April 10th & 11th.
It was also noted that, Ric Flair is planned to involve physically at some point in the storyline, however, he wasn’t cleared to do so. On last week’s Raw, the entire angle between Ric Flair and Charlotte Flair ended completely after the emotional segment between father and daughter.
