‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt wasn’t seen on WWE TV since WWE TLC, that happened in December 2020, after burnt alive by Randy Orton in Firefly Inferno Match.
From then, Randy Orton and Alexa Bliss had some cryptic segments and continuing the feud. And everyone expects that Bray Wyatt would return at some point and have match against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 37. But WWE had different plans but that cancelled later.
Accidental to the Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE was originally planned the The Fiend to return before Royal Rumble event to have a gimmick match against Randy Orton at Royal Rumble pay-per-view but later WWE moved it back.
Randy Orton vs. The Fiend, likely in a wacky gimmick match, would seem to be a sure thing since it was set for Royal Rumble and moved back.
It was expected that WWE will book a gimmick match between Randy Orton and The Fiend Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 37. Alexa Bliss recently dropped many hints about The Fiend’s return. We also Alexa Bliss pentagram segments with teasing The Fiend return and also Orton vomiting black liquid from past few weeks.
