Last year, Cesaro, Shinsuke Nakamura and Sami Zyan worked as team on Smackdown and appeared on many live events before pandemic. Cesaro shared his thoughts on The Great Liberator Sami Zyan in an interview.
The Swiss Cyborg Sami Zyan recently had an interview with Ryan Satin of Fox Sports and discussed about several topics. Ryan Satin also asked Cesaro about working with Sami Zyan at live events, then, Cesaro said that it was 100% fun to work with him. He also said that three of them worked well because each of them are completely different and unique on their way.
Here what Cesaro said: “100%. It was a lot of fun because we – Shin, him and I – we had a lot of fun on live events because he is such a good antagonist and, you know, we always riled up the crowd really well.”
“We worked with a bunch of different babyfaces. So, I thought our act as a trio was so much fun because all three of us are so completely different and unique in our own way, but when you bring it together it just kind of works … and it was awesome. We had so much fun.”
Sami Zyan took a break from WWE due to pandemic and Cesaro & Nakamura worked together that time. But after Sami Zyan’s return, Cesaro & Nakamura hesitated to team up with him.

Cesaro also recalled the segment, in which Cesaro and Nakamura held the Champion’s Lounge but didn’t invite Sami Zyan and kicked him out of his team.
“The one Champion’s Lounge where he comes in and was upset he wasn’t invited, and we kick him out, just the chemistry there, you can just see it. We just had fun playing off each other and on live events that came across really big. So, I had a lot of fun as well. Yeah. Nothing but good memories in that.”
Now, Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura are working as singles competitors and gained a lot of momentum in recent times. Sami Zyan also very much entertaining with his heel character on blue brand.
