The former NXT North American Champion Damian Priest doing well since his main roster debut on Monday Night Raw following his Royal Rumble match appearance. He also picked up wins against The Miz and John Morrison.
Damian Priest recently had an interview with The Irish Sun and talked about his Mount Rushmore of Pro Wrestling and also similarities between him and The Rock.
Priest picked The Rock, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker and Triple H for his Mount Rushmore. Then, said that he and The Rock had similarities that they both came from nothing. Here what Damian Priest said:
“Four sucks. I have so many. Undertaker’s definitely on there, The Rock is there, and I think it has to be Triple H and Shawn Michaels,” Priest said. “Undertaker’s always going to be there. He’s the one that made me fall in love with the business when I was a kid.
“And The Rock – just the way he is, not just the wrestling. I came from a similar background. I came from nothing.” (H/T: WrestlingInc)
Currently, Damian Priest aligned with rapper Bad Bunny on Monday Night Raw. It was also speculated that Priest and Bunny would face The Miz and John Morrison at WrestleMania 37. On this week’s Raw, The Miz also attacked Bad Bunny with guitar and escaped before Priest putting hands on Miz.
