The five-time WWE Champion Daniel Bryan recently had an interview with Bleacher Report and revealed that Jon Moxley vs. AJ Styles match in WWE had a major impact on his willingness to get back to the square circle.

Daniel Bryan forced to retire from in-ring competition in 2016 due to concussions problems. After a years of waiting, he finally cleared to wrestle in 2018 and returned to the ring. He’s currently the full-time wrestler of WWE Friday Night Smackdown.
The Leader of Yes Movement Daniel Bryan recalled that he was at ringside during the match between Jon Moxley and AJ Styles. He said that it was hard to see that great match and thought that he should be there with that guys.

”The worst one was when I had to sit ringside for a Dean Ambrose vs. AJ Styles match and that was the one that broke me. AJ and I at that point hadn’t [fought]. He hadn’t come to WWE before I retired. Seeing those guys go out there, and they’re both great, I was like, ‘Man, I should be in there doing this with these guys.’ It really ate me up, and when I came home, I think Brie saw a different person as far as striving to prove.”

Currently, Daniel Bryan is feuding with Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Edge on Friday Night Smackdown. It was also announced that Bryan is going to face Edge and Roman Reigns for Universal Title in main event of WrestleMania 37 on Night Two.
