On this week’s Raw main event, The Almighty Bobby Lashley won his first WWE Championship by defeating The Miz in Lumberjack Match. Earlier on the show, Miz played several stunts to avoid this match but at the end Lashley came out as WWE Champion. Now, former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre reacts to Lashley’s WWE Title win.

The Scottish Warrior Drew McIntyre appeared on Raw Talk after the WWE Raw and shared his thoughts on Bobby Lashley winning the WWE Title. McIntyre said that Lashley worked hard for it and he earned this moment. He also teases the match between him and Lashley at WrestleMania.
“If I was to place a bet on the match, I certainly would have placed everything on Lashley. He’s worked hard for it. The man is an absolute animal, in every possible way. In the gym. In the ring. I’ve faced him in the past. He’s earned this moment and the idea of Drew McIntyre versus Lashley is pretty big for me, it feels like a significant match for RAW, and if it happens on the biggest stage of them all that will be just fine for me.”

Drew McIntyre still has eyes on the WWE Title and wants to win it back. McIntyre lost his title at Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, and Bobby Lashley played an prominent role in losing his title, where he attacked Drew before Miz’s cash-in. So, it seems the correct setup to build the match towards WrestleMania.
