The former WWE United States Champion Apollo Crews recently had an interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated and discussed about his new persona and how Tribal Chief Roman Reigns helped him.
Apollo Crews said that Roman Reigns is doing great and everyone loved to be in his spot. he had learned by watching him and working towards to be in that level. Here what Apollo Crews said about Roman Reigns:
“Roman does everything so well. I’ve watched and learned from him. He’s the best. Everyone wants to be in the spot he’s in, so watching him has taught me so much. I want to be that person who can captivate an audience, with an undeniable greatness. That’s Roman’s level, and that is what I’m working toward.”
Back on January, Apollo Crews was spotted couple of times with Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman at backstage. Everyone thought that he would be joining in Reigns faction but it didn’t happen.
Later, he went against Big E for Intercontinental Championship and lost the couple of matches. Then, Crews turned heel by attacking Big E and introduced his new character with Nigerian Royalty. At WWE Fastlane, Apollo Crews will set to face Big E for Intercontinental Championship.
