Following the WWE Fastlane 2021 pay-per-view, WWE announced the former United States Champion Andrade’s release through it’s official Twitter handle and on it’s website. It’s a shocking news for the WWE Universe but Andrade was happy about his release and also expressed via his Twitter handle hours before official announcement of his WWE release. Now, we have got more update about the Andrade’s release.

According to the Fightful Select report, sources in the WWE told that they were surprised by granting Andrade’s release. Previously, company told them that Andrade wasn’t expected to get his release immediately but WWE higher-ups changed their mind over past week or so.
This report also added that Andrade contract has 90-day non-compete clause attached to it and it set to expire on June 20, 2021. It was also noted that Andrade can use his name anywhere but won’t able to use his extension ‘Cien Almas’, which was used when he was in NXT.

It was previously reported that Andrade asked for his release on March 8th, 2021 episode of Raw Tapings but WWE denied is request. Andrade also confirmed these rumors about his WWE release request via his Twitter account. Now, finally he got his release and we hope he had great future ahead.
