It was recently rumored that NXT is moving to Tuesday Nights following WrestleMania 37 in April and now, we got another report about the NXT move.
PWInsider of Mike Johnson reported that several WWE sources close to this situation confirmed that NXT will be moving to Tuesday Night and it will be airing on USA Network on Tuesday, April 13, following WrestleMania 37 event.
WWE didn’t make any official announcement regarding the NXT’s Tuesday move but Johnson reported that WWE’s production calender lists the NXT show on April 13th. This all seems like a formality now, but it was expected that there will be an official announcement soon.

It was also noted by Johnson that it couldn’t confirm if this move is permanant but there is adequate evidence to believe that this is the plan by WWE and USA Network. While some critics argue that there is no need of this necessary move to Tuesday Nights since NHL Hockey will be airing on ESPN this fall.
NHL is just like other major sports leagues like NFL, NBA and so on that will make contracts with various network every season to air their content. It was to be noted that NHL airing content through ESPN doesn’t mean hockey won’t be with NBC and air on USA Network this fall.
Even though there no confirmation about hockey, WWE is making this move ahead to get out of this situation before being forced to make this move. So, this move will significantly end the Wednesday Night Wars between AEW & NXT and fans can watch the both shows, which will helpful both shows ratings & viewership.
