WWE Veteran Rob Van Dam recently had an interview with The 90’s Wrestling Podcast and revealed that WWE had contacted him recently. He said that they had talks with him about making documentary of his career. This documentary will be part of current WWE Icons series and scheduled to air on May.
“They [WWE] contacted me and asked if I’d be interested and that they wanted to make a documentary on me, and I said sure, I’d be interested. We haven’t actually shot much of it yet, but, [whispering] it comes out in May. So we’re gonna be shooting a lot of it real soon. So I’m excited about it, I’m talking to them [WWE] about doing a book, we’re in talks.” [H/T: Inside The Ropes]
The Wrestling Legend, Rob Van Dam has worked for various promotions in his 31-year wrestling career including ECW, WCW, WWE and IMPACT Wrestling. He had two stints with WWE between 2001-2007 and 2013-2014.
The one-time WWE Champion last appearance on WWE TV took place on Raw Reunion episode in July 2019. His last television match took place in September 2020 in IMPACT Wrestling, in which he defeated Sami Callihan.
