Sonya Deville last wrestled in WWE TV at WWE Summer Slam 2020 pay-per-view, in which she lost to Mandy Rose in “No Disqualification, Loser Leaves WWE” match. After four months, she returned to the WWE on Jan 1st, 2021 episode of Smackdown. From then, she has been working in role as assistant to WWE Official Adam Pearce.
Sonya Deville recently appeared as special guest on WWE’s The Bump Show and was asked about her in-ring return in future. Then, Deville said that she love her current role and calling shots, which she believes something natural to her. But at the end of day, she is fighter and definitely return to ring in future. Here what Sonya Deville said:
“I don’t know right now. I like rocking my suits, my three-piece suits every week, and calling the shots. I think being in charge is something that kinda comes natural to me. I think I’m a born leader. So I like this new role. But you know, I’m Sonya Deville and I’m a fighter at the end of the day. Obviously I love to get down and get dirty and I like to kick a**. I’m sure everything will come full-circle eventually.”
