Tonight’s WWE Friday Night Smackdown is live from WWE ThunderDome at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. It’s Fastlane fallout episode of Smackdown and WWE announced that Kevin Owens will host the KO Show with Sami Zyan as special guest.

– Tonight’s WWE SmackDown opened with Daniel Bryan coming to the ring with steel chair. He says at Fastlane everyone saw the truth, everyone saw the reality that Roman Reigns tapping out. Roman Reigns said that will never happen and that had never happened before but he tapped out. Reigns said that he would rather die than to tap out for him but he’s alive and he tapped out.
That means, in reality that would mean he’s standing here as Universal Champion and going to WrestleMania as Champion. But neither of them happened because while Roman Reigns tapping out, Edge hit him with steel chair and mocks Edge. He recalls Edge’s recent comments of Bryan is not doing in right way and let the Edge vs. Roman Reigns dream match should happen. But he’s tired of just standing around, had enough and don’t what see the people dream match that they don’t deserve.
Bryan further explains how he earned teh Universal Championship Match and he’s willing to earn it again. He’s not asking anyone for give him the title but he want rematch against Roman Reigns for Universal Championship and that should happen on this night. He goes on and says he’s not going to leave the ring until he gets what he wants and sits in the steel chair.
WWE Producer Adam Pearce came out and says he cannot give a title shot tonight, then, Bryan offers replay of Reigns tap out. Pearce says he already saw it but the referees decision is final and Roman Reigns is still Universal Champion and he’s next defense will be at WrestleMania 37 against Edge.
Then, Bryan says he had a solution that the winner of Edge vs. Roman Reigns at WrestleMania immediately facing Daniel Bryan. Pearce says it’s unfair to happen back to back title defenses. Bryan brings up how he had 40 minutes Elimination Chamber Match, then, immediately had title match. Bryan says it’s double standard and it’s too much for Edge and Roman Reigns.
Then, Bryan says as WrestleMania 37 is two night event, so how about Roman Reigns vs. Edge on Night One and winner of that match will face Daniel Bryan on Night Two of WrestleMania. Adam Pearce looking from the stage, music hits, here comes the Rated-R Superstar Edge. He takes the mic and says last month he stood back and watched Bryan act like some knight in shining armor. Bryan talks about how this could be his final WrestleMania but every match here in WWE could be the last for Edge. Edge goes on about how Bryan is very heroic for wanting to pick the bones of the winner.
Edge says he had earned the title shot by outlasting other 29 superstars including Daniel Bryan. He goes on and says Bryan doesn’t deserve a shot. Then , suddenly Bryan attacks Edge and unloading him but Edge hits a spear to Bryan and hits a chair shot. Edge looks at Bryan who is rolling in the pain and exits the ring.
– Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman and Jey Uso at backstage watching what was happened and ordered Heyman to bring Adam Pearce here. He also says Jey Uso to go with Heyman and use force if necessary. Jey says are you sure? Roman says what’s they are going to do, fire us? Uso walks off.
– Seth Rollins defeated Shinsuke Nakamura via Pinfall. After the match, Seth Rollins attacked Nakamura, then, Cesaro came out for save. Brawl broke out between Cesaro and Seth Rollins. Cesrao hits big uppercut and goes for swing but Rollins escapes. Cesaro yells at Rollins from the ring, while, Seth talking trash from the ramp.
– Adam Pearce with Roman Reigns in locker room and Paul Heyman is ranting. Jey Uso stood behind Pearce. Roman Reigns stood up and gets into the Pearce face. Reigns says that to understood Pearce that he is only available for one night and one title defence at WrestleMania 37. Adam Pearce says he agreed to inclined with it but he has to consider other things. Pearce says he will make the decision by end of the night.
– Kayla Braxton at backstage with Seth Rollins and asks about his comments, then, Seth Rollins yells at Cesrao and challenges a match against Cesaro at WrestleMania 37. He further says he’s going to teach Cesaro lesson about respect and then, he will never embarrass him or never swung again. Cesaro appears and take down Seth Rollins and goes for a swing. Then, Cesaro accepts Seth Rollins challenge for a match at WrestleMania 37.
– Edge stops the Adam Pearce at backstage and asks if Daniel Bryan gets what he wants. He asks what kind of ship Pearce running here. Pearce says he has a job of gathering all the facts and weigh all options before making his decision. He’s doing it for WWE but not for nay person. Edge says he hopes Pearce will take right decision.
– Kevin Owens in the ring for the another episode of KO Show. He brings what happened last week between him and Sami Zyan. He tried to show Sami Zyan that there’s no conspiracy against him but he attacked him with Helluva Kick. He got a question and only one person can answer it and calls out Sami Zyan.
Sami Zyan came out with his documentary crew. Zyan says sorry for hitting him with Helluva Kick last week. He says he crossed the line but this conspiracy thing messing with him. Owens says that’s not the answer he’s looking for. Sami says he knows the question that Owens is still part of his documentary and answer is he can.
Sami then says he about to dropping big news. He’s dropping red carpet documentary premiere for next week and YouTube star Logan Paul will be here. He also brings up his Twitter chat and says Logan is in his documentary and will help him out. Owens says he doesn’t care about Sami Zyan project, Logan Paul or his apology. Sami yells at Owens but Owens says shut your mouth. Then, Owens says the question is Sami Zyan vs. Owens at WrestleMania 37?
Owens points at WrestleMania but Sami says he’s doing a mistake, we have to work together. Owens is asking yes or no. Then, Sami says yes and asks is Owens is happy. Owens says he’s going to beat Sami senseless and attacks him. He unloads on Sami Zyan and hits a big Stunner on him.
– Daniel Bryan at Backstage with WWE producer Adam Pearce. He says he knows Pearce under pressure but deep down he knows he has to make right decision. And he knows what the right decision is. Pearce looks on and Bryan walks off.
– Binaca Belair at backstage with Kayla Braxton and talks about Sasha Banks slap at WWE Fastlane. Then, Belair cuts a promo about Sasha Banks and says thay she’s going to make history at WrestleMania by ending Sasha Banks reign. Now, she had some unfinished business with Natalya to deal with
– Bianca Belair defeated Natalya via Pinfall. After the match, Sasha Banks came out and attacked Bianca Belair.
– Edge walks into Roman Reigns locker room and Jey Uso yells at him. Reigns says it takes lot of balls for Edge to come in here. Edge says he’s here for talking. Edge says Daniel Bryan is trying to steal their spotlight and if Reigns had the stroke then it time to use it. Edge tells how about he pinning Bryan to win the Universal Title of Bryan involves in the match and says Reigns to keep it in mind.
– Rey Mysterio defeated Dolph Ziggler via Pinfall.
– Adam Pearce make his way to the ring followed by Roman Reigns, Edge and Daniel Bryan. Adam Pearce says all their concern make sense, Bryan about being double standard and deserves title shot make sense. Roman Reigns should defend his Universal Title at one night at WrestleMania 37. So he announced that it will be Roman Reigns vs. Edge vs. Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 37.
Roman Reigns isn’t happy about and goes into the face of Adam Pearce. But Daniel Bryan started attacking Edge. Then, Reigns hit the superman punch to Bryan and Jey Uso brings steel chair, Reigns unloads on Bryan with chair but Edge hits spear to Reigns and unloading with steel chair. Then, Jey Uso came in but Edge took him out with spear, Reigsn retreats to the floor.
Bryan is trying to get away from the ring but Edge drags him. WWE officials Pat Buck and Jamie Noble came in to clam down Edge but hits them with chair shots. Edge unfolds the chair and sits on it. He looks more angry and Reigns looking from the ramp and Smackdown goes off air.
