WWE officially announced that Eric Bischoff will be inducted into WWE Hall of Fame this year as a part of 2021 class which will take place on April 6th, 2021 and will air live on Peacock and WWE Network. But WWE actually planned a suprise for Eric Bischoff last year.
The former WWE Superstar Sean Waltman, known as X-PAC, recently appeared as special guest on Busted Open Radio and revealed the cancelled plans for Eric Bischoff. He said that We actually planned to give surprise Hall of Fame induction for Eric Bischoff last year. Here what Sean Waltman said:
“I’m really glad they’re putting Eric in. Speaking of that, we were going to surprise him last year. He was actually going to go in with us. I’m glad they didn’t try to do that because a person should know ahead of time, not just show up and go, ‘Hey, by the way, come on up here and get your ring.'” (H/T: WrestlingNewsCo)
