Previously, Peacock announced that it going to review the 17000 hours of WWE content before it’s going to air on their own version of WWE Network. Since, the content removed from the Peacock, it also been removing from the current stand alone WWE network.

Now, WWE released a statement regarding the removal of controversial content from the both Peacock and WWE Network outside the United States after April 5th.

According to the article in New York Times, WWE stated that the company and Peacock were reviewing past content to make sure that follows 2021 standards. 
“Peacock and WWE are reviewing all past content to ensure it fits our 2021 standards.”


NBCUniversal also released a statement on behalf of Peacock.

“[We are] reviewing WWE content to ensure it aligns with Peacock’s standards and practices.”
