WWE NXT currently have five major titles that includes NXT Championship, NXT Women’s Championship, NXT North American Championship and NXT Tag Team Championships. Now, WWE is looking to add one more tag team title to the black and gold brand.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (via Cagesideseats), WWE had plans to introduce new NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles soon. And there is no confirmation yet on when it could happen.
Last week on Wednesday Night NXT, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler battled Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez with titles on line. The champs successfully retained their tag team titles but the ending was a bit controversy.

NXT General Manager William Regal looks upset about the ending and had an argument with Adam Pearce at backstage. And later, in backstage interview, he said that next week there will be an announcement that will change landscape of NXT. So, it looks Regal will annouce about the new NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles. Let’s wait and see.
