The former United States Champion Andrade released by WWE last month, initially WWE didn’t granted his release but later they let him go. It was noted that he didn’t have 90-day non-compete clause, which means he can compete for other promotions.
Following his WWE release, Andrade is ready to start a new chapter in his career and also gave constant updates about his status. Now, it looks like he is going to square off against former WWE Champion in an Wrestling Event.

While speaking to Super Luchas, Alberto Del Rio revealed that he is going to face Andrade in singles match on July 31st, which will take place at Texas.
“For the first time they are going to see what people have been asking for for a long time, Andrade against Alberto del Río , I don’t think they had ever sent such a poster to Texas.”
Alberto Del Rio also revealed that, he and Chavo Guerrero Jr. co-founded Nación Lucha Libre promotion will be reopening this year, which was shut down last year. This event will also feature former water Superstars Kalisto, Epico and Primo.
