WWE Champion Bobby Lashley recently appeared as special guest on Out of Character with Ryan Satin and discussed about several topics including breaking up of Hurt Business Faction.
Two weeks before WrestleMania 37, Hurt Business faction got split-up. The Allmighty Bobby Lashley kicked out Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin for failing to take out Drew McIntyre in 2-on-1 handicap match. And it was shocker and fans didn’t seems happy about it.
During the interview, Bobby Lashley opened up about WWE’s decision to break up The Hurt Business. He stated that he was very disappointed by it but at the end business is business. He also stated that Hurt Business is not over yet.
“You know it hurt my heart. I don’t know if I’m supposed to say that. But it hurt my heart because it was something very special. In the wrestling business, it’s very seldom that a really special thing like that comes together where you can see that energy and people really get behind it. And they were. But ultimately, business is business sometimes. And originally the Hurt Business was started by MVP and myself. Then we brought some people on that really deserved a chance. They took it and they ran with it. But the Business is not over.” (H/T: WrestlingInc)
Bobby Lashley successfully defended his WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 37 Night One. On this week’s Monday Night Raw, Drew McIntyre got the another opportunity for WWE Title at WrestleMania Backlash PPV and it also seems that T-BAR and Mace joined the Hurt Business after their attack on Drew McIntyre on WWE Raw.
Fun Fact..Bobby Lashley is the first African American WWE Champion to retain the WWE Title at #Wrestlemania. Congratulations to Bobby! pic.twitter.com/PN6duMXDjk
