The AEW Superstar Christian Cage recently appeared as special guest on AEW Unrestricted and discussed about several topics.
The Captain Charisma Christian retired in 2014 and he returned to the ring at WWE Royal Rumble 2021 match. He also had an emotional moment with Edge during the Rumble match. Following his appearance, fans thought that he would be joining WWE, but surprisingly, he signed with AEW.
During the chat with Tony Schiavone and Aubrey Edwards on AEW Unrestricted, Christian Cage was asked about any WWE superstars he liked to face before his signing with All Elite Wrestling. Then, Christian named the former Universal Champion Kevin Owens and former Intercontinental Champion Sami Zyan.
“I would say probably Kevin Owens.” Said Christian. “I really like the passion that he has. I like the way that he delivers his promos. I think he’s fearless when he delivers his promos. I think that he’s a fearless competitor in the ring as well. I just like his style. Sami Zayn as well. I thought, especially with his character the way it is now, we could have done some pretty special things. So, off the top of my head, I would say probably those two guys.” (H/T: 411Mania)

Christian Cage recently made his in-ring debut in AEW Dynamite. He battled Frankie Kazarian in a singles match, in which he was won. Cage also defeated Powerhouse Hobbs of Team Taz in a singles match last week.
