The former Universal Champion Goldberg recently appeared as special guest on WWE’s The Bump show and discussed about several topics including about facing Swiss Cyborg Cesaro in the ring.
The Iconic Goldberg said that Cesaro is one of the most talented guys and he would love to face him. He also stated that Cesaro is currently getting some attention that he deserves. Here what Goldberg said about Cesaro:
“It would have been a dream match for me and Cesaro right when I broke and concentrated more on the martial arts aspect of it,” Goldberg said. “Now I got to pick and choose my moves wisely. I’d love to get in the ring with Cesaro. He’s one of the most talented guys to have ever put on a pair of boots. There’s no question about it. Cesaro is an incredibly talented wrestler but he didn’t get the push he deserves over past years in WWE. Currently, Cesaro getting his spot light from past few months and also got a big win over Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 37. From the past week’s Friday Night Smackdown, it looks like Cesaro will start feud with Universal Champion Roman Reigns soon in WWE.

Goldberg last wrestled against Drew McIntyre for WWE title. He returned at Raw Legends Night and challenged Drew McIntyre for WWE Championship. They battled at Royal Rumble 2021 PPV, in which McIntyre successfully retained his title and both showed respect for each other following the match. Since then Goldberg wasn’t seen on WWE TV.
