Samoa Joe was the one the biggest star in WWE but he was sidelined due to multiple injuries. Then, WWE moved him to Raw commentary panel. He was last seen at WrestleMania 37 show, doing commentary for the two-night event. But on Monday Night Raw, Joe was replaced by Corey Graves and later WWE released him.

According to the Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, the former United States Champion Samoa Joe was very vocal about getting back to the ring to wrestle again but WWE didn’t cleared him to wrestle.
Samoa Joe last wrestled in WWE on February last year, then, he got injured and moved back to Raw commentary panel again. It’s not surprise that Joe wanted to wrestle again but he wasn’t cleared by WWE, so, this may one the factor led to his WWE release.
Not only Samoa Joe, Mickie James also always expressed that she wanted to wrestle again. Both the superstars are very anxious to get back to the ring and now, WWE gave them their release. However, now they have to wait for 90 day non-compete clause, which expire on July 14th, to sign with other promotions.
Grateful for the memories. Grateful for the locker room. Grateful for the fans. Grateful for these little keys to my golden handcuffs. You can never expected others vision of you to be big as your own dreams. Thank you @VinceMcMahon #AlwaysBlessedAndGrateful
