Morrissey was on winning side of the match in his special appearance but it’s unclear whether it’s a one off appearance or he signed a deal with IMPACT Wrestling. Now, we got an update about Morrissey status.
According to the report from the Fightful Select, W. Morrissey signed a deal with IMPACT Wrestling but there is not clear details about how long the contract is but “he signed and will be around for the foreseeable future.”
This was his first contract after his release from WWE in 2018 due to his personal issues. Morrissey had tried hard to overcome his struggles with alcohol and now got a big opportunity in IMPACT Wrestling to shape up his career.
Morrissey also cut his first promo in IMPACT Wrestling on this week’s show, stated that he’s one of the ‘bad people’ in the business and had a quickly squashed Sam Beale.
