WWE recently announced that NXT is moving to Tuesday Night and it’s first episode on Tuesday Night will air on April 13th, 2021. Now, NXT Boss Triple H held a meeting regarding NXT’s Tuesday Move with the roster.
On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that there was team meeting recently which was mainly focused on NXT leaving Wednesday Nights and moving to Tuesday Night in couple of weeks.
Triple H talked with NXT roster about the six years journey and how they became the one of the top brands in WWE. Initially it was reported by Dave Meltzer that Triple H said that AEW tried of bully them off of Wednesday Nights.
But now, Dave Meltzer retracted that report and stated that he has been contacted by the two people, who were in the meeting. They informed him that ‘bully’ line never happened.
In last night’s description of the meeting Paul Levesque had with talent, while the description was largely what was said, two people have said the “bully” line was never said.

Triple H ended the meeting by saying that WWE Monday Night Raw is now ‘lead-in’ to NXT the following night and also talked about how they also have the night for themselves (as IMPACT Wrestling is moving to Thursdays). Triple H also stated that with NXT moving to Tuesday Night, everything is going to change. It wasn’t clear about that change but it may reference to the TV ratings.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that Triple H said that NXT moving to Tuesday Nights have been in a works for a while and also mentioned that they can watch the replay of NXT on Peacock on the next day.
‘The Game’ Triple H further stated that now they can focus more on the show itself rather than the viewership numbers.
