According to the Sean Ross Sapp (via CageSideSeats), WWE’s head of talent relations John Laurinaitis made then call to release wrestlers yesterday. It was also reported that budget cuts were the reason for taking this decision. Dave Meltzer also noted that these released WWE superstars can sign to another promotion after their 90-day non-compete clause, which will end on July 14th, 2021.
