WWE fans expected that The Rowdy Ronda Rousey would return to WWE on the road to WrestleMania 37 but it didn’t happen. Now, we got an update about the Ronda Rousey’s WWE contract status.
Previously, it was reported that Ronda Rousey’s WWE Contract set to expire this month. On the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Rousey’s contract expired this past week but WWE could have frozen her deal due to her taken time off. So, she would still have one year left on her contract.
“The impression we had is she was always coming back for the planned Los Angeles WrestleMania which was supposed to be this year, but obviously that didn’t happen.”
It was also noted that WWE planned Ronda Rousey’s come back for WrestleMania at Los Angeles, which was supposed to happen this year but later WWE moved it to Raymond James Stadium due to pandemic.

Recently, WWE President and Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan stated that Ronda Rousey will be back soon to WWE. Rousey last wrestled at WrestleMania 35, in which she battled Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair in a Triple Threat Match for both Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships. Becky Lynch won that match by pinning Ronda Rousey, since then, Rousey wasn’t seen on WWE TV.
