Tonight’s WWE Friday Night Smackdown is live from WWE ThunderDome at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. WWE announced that we will hear from the Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan after Edge’s attack on them last week.
Ans also Sami Zyan announced the red carpet premiere of his documentary with Logan Paul as special guest to find the conspiracy against him.
Here The WWE Friday Night Smackdown Full Matches And Results With Short Review:
– Tonight’s WWE SmackDown opened with Rated-R Superstar Edge making his way to the ring. He says what happened at last week and at WWE Fastlane maybe didn’t need to happen. Maybe it did. He was being naive thinking that he could travel road to WrestleMania with no speed bumps and not road kill because that what Daniel Bryan have done by making him to the match. Edge says he’s thinking about Universal Champion Roman Reigns and didn’t even see Daniel Bryan is coming. He says after Adam Pearce’s decision last week, he realised that he got played.
Edge says this week he had lot of time to reflect and he looked at the mirror. He was happy for what he saw, a guy who have biting and swinging, doing whatever he has to, when he’s backed in the corner. He looked in the mirror finally he saw Rated-R Superstar. Edge shows us the graphic of Universal Championship Triple Threat Match and says it’s validation for Pearce’s paycheck. But not Pearce, Roman or Bryan understood the ramifications of what has done.
Edge admits that he’s snapped after what happened at WWE Fastlane and last week on Smackdown. He’s finally woke up. Edge further says about being the man Roman and Daniel aspires to be WWE Hall of Famer, The Ultimate Opportunist and he is finally here, the Rated-R Superstar.
Edge looks more aggressively and says last week when had cold steel chair and felt it through other bodies, it felt him so good. It will be happen again, when he won’t hesitate to do it. Edge drops the mic and exits the ring and looks at WrestleMania 37 triple threat graphic.
– Edge at Backstage and Kayla Braxton asks his comments about Daniel Bryan’s street fight against Jey Uso. She also mentions how people wondering if Jey Uso is just there to take out Daniel Bryan. Edge says he doens’t even bother Jey Uso beat hell out of Bryan and taken out of WrestleMania, not even single part of the Edge will feel bad for him.
– Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode and Alpha Academy defeated Rey Mysterio, Dominik Mysterio and Street Profits via Pinfall.
– Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville talking at Backstage and Paul Heyman brings up something from Roman Reigns – an indemnification clause, Hold Harmless agreement that stripes Jey Uso from all the liabilities in tonight’s Street Fight against Daniel Bryan. Paul Heyman says tonight’s Street Fight could shorten the Bryan’s career and impact the WrestleMania Triple Threat Match. Adam Pearce says he should have expected Heyman to..but Deville interrupts and says Heyman brings up a good point.
– Corey Graves in the ring with Seth Rollins and Cesaro. Seth Rollins interrupts over Graves asking frist question to Cesrao and says him to go ahead. Graves asks if it’s the breakthrough moment that Cesrao needed. Cesrao says yes, it’s the definitely a biggest match in his career and says he can’t and will not fail because it’s something different that he can feel it. Then, Cesrao taunts Seth Rollins for his last week’s swing. Seth Rollins says Graves and Cesrao trying to shake him up but it won’t happen because he’s untouchable at this time of year. Seth brings up his WrestleMania records and compare it with some of the historic WWE moments.
Graves asks Cesrao that he believes he has what it takes to defeat Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 37. Cesaro says he wouldn’t be here if he didn’t know he could beat Rollins at WrestleMania. Cesrao continues that he does know not only he can win but also he will enbarass Seth Rollins at Grandest Stage of them all. Rollins says he’s unbreakable but Cesaro says it’s ture but Rollins isn’t un-swingable. Cesrao taunts Seth Rollins, then, Rollins says he’s going to embarrass Cesrao very bad at WrestleMania.
Rollins says he even won’t make him to WrestleMania and going to end his dream right now. Cesaro steps up and dares him to swing but Rollins hesitates. Cesrao stares at Rollins who is going back to locker room.
– Natalya defeated Shayna Baszler via Pinfall. After the match, Carmella is watching from backstage and Nia Jax is shocked by Baszler loss. She entered the ring and took out Natalya and Tamina. Then, Riott Squad came in and double teamed on Jax but Baszler take out them. Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke came out and fights The Champs, next Lana and Naomi are also out and brawl continued.
At the end, Natalya and Tamina Snuka stood tall and stared at Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler who is the ramp. At Backstage, Billie Kay approaches Carmella but she dismisses her but called her back again looks like she wants to form tag team with Billie Kay.
– Sami Zyan makes his way to the ring and says how his documentary will prove there’s conspiracy against him. Then, he introduces his special guest The YouTube Star, a podcaster, a boxer, an actor and a social media influencer Logan Paul.
Logan Paul enters the ring and hugs Sami Zyan. Then, Sami says how Logan Paul’s arrival gives credibility to his conspiracy claims. Paul says based on what Sami says it’s going to be th biggest conspiracy of all time. Sami goes on about how quickly they became friends and invites him to be the special guest at WrestleMania 37. Then, Logan Paul says yes.
Sami Zyan says how he’s going to destroy Kevin Owens at WrestleMania but that another and tonight we have another stuff to focus. Then, he launches trailer of his documentary. Sami Zyan is thrilled and asks Logan Paul for his comments. Paul says it’s a lot to take in and it’s compelling but Owens approached him at Backstage and said that he knows Sami Zyan for 15 years, there is no conspiracy and he’s living in another reality. Sami is not happy with Paul’s interaction with Owens and says he’s Sami’s guest if honor. He says he know what Kevin Owens thinks but he doesn’t care about it. He all wants to know what Paul thinks and doesn’t want Owens poisoning his mind.
Logan Paul talks about Sami Zyan’s trailer and says he put a lot effort in the project. But suddenly, Kevin Owens came to the ring and hits a stunner to Sami Zyan. Then, Owens says he bad he’s going to beat him at WrestleMania and teach him a lesson. Owens exits the ring and Logan Paul looks shocked.
– Edge with Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville at backstage. He says Adam Pearce making a triple threat match at WrestleMania is a big mistake but Street Fight between Jey Uso and Daniel Bryan is actually a good idea. Edge says that he letting know both of them at he will be at the commentary for the match.
– Alyse Ashton at backstage with Kevin Owens and asks about what happened just before. Kevin Owens says he’s trying to send a message to Sami Zyan with stunner and it goes to everyone out there. Sami suddenly attacks Owens and yells at him for ruining and says see him at WrestleMania 37.
– Binaca Belair defeated Carmella via Pinfall. After the match, Smackdown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks tries to attack Belair but she counters and says not tonight pointing at WrestleMania 37. Banks taunts Belair and heads to the ringside.
– Apollo Crews at Backstage and brings up how Intercontinental Champion Big E disrespected his ancestors. Then, Crews challenged Big E for a Nigerian Drum Fight stipulation for WrestleMania 37. He says that it’s a ancient duel created by his ancestors for those who have been wronged, as way to make it right. Crews says there will be no rules, no limitations just beating eachother so loud that sounds like beating drums. He ends the segment by saying finally he’s going to win the Intercontinental Championship from Big E.
– Daniel Bryan defeated Jey Uso via submission. After the match, Daniel Bryan attacked Edge and hit him to the ring post. Then, he goes towards Roman Reigns but Reigns throws the chair, Bryan ducks and attacked Roman Reigns. Both brawled and Daniel Bryan puts yes lock on the Reigns. WWE officials came out to save Roman Reigns, then, Bryan hits the ring and stand tall and Smackdown goes off air.
