Humberto Carrillo returned to WWE TV last week after a lone time and involved in storyline with United States Champion Sheamus on WWE Raw.
Last week on Monday Night Raw, Sheamus issued a open challenge but without title on line. Humberto Carrillo came to accept the challenge but Sheamus attacked him and match didn’t take place.
On tonight’s WWE Raw, Sheamus once again issued a open challenge and Carrillo came out once again but this time he got upper hand over Sheamus and got some payback.

On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer discussed about the current run of Humberto Carrillo. He said that they are finally doing something with Carrillo and that either lead to match against Sheamus next week or maybe at PPV but he will probably lose to Sheamus.
“So this may be the start of a program and this may be the start of them doing something with Humberto Carrillo after doing nothing with him for a long period of time.”
“They’re either gonna do the match next week where he’ll lose or they’ll save it for the pay-per-view where he’ll probably lose.” (H/T: Ringside News)
Humberto Carrillo last appearance came at WWE SmackDown before WrestleMania 37, in which he participated in Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. It was interesting to see how things will go for Humberto Carrillo on next week’s Raw.
