WWE News: Two Title Matches Announced For Next Week’s Friday Night Smackdown

Tonight on WWE SmackDown, Cesaro opened the show but he was interrupted by Seth Rollins and had a confrontation. But Jey Uso interrupts and tries to attack Cesaro for disrespecting Roman Reigns last week. Then, Seth Rollins and Jey Uso tries to double team on Cesaro but Daniel Bryan came out to join Cesaro.

Later, they had tag team match which was won by Cesaro and Daniel Bryan. Following the match, Jey Uso taken out by Cesaro and Bryan, and called out Roman Reigns to answer Cesaro’s challenge for Universal Championship but Reigns didn’t show up.

Later on the show, Roman Reigns denied to give title shot to Cesaro but he offered a list opportunity for Universal Title to Daniel Bryan with stipulation that if Bryan loses he would be banished from Friday Night Smackdown. Bryan accepts the challenge and WWE made this match official for next week’s Smackdown.

Tonight on Smackdown, Apollo Crews successfully defended his Intercontinental Championship against Kevin Owens. After that he had backstage interview about his win but he was suddenly attacked by Big E. Later, WWE announced that Big E will get his IC Title rematch against Apollo Crews on next week’s Smackdown.
