The Almighty Bobby Lashley faced Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 37 Night One and successfully retained his WWE Championship. The reason for Bobby Lashley clean win against Drew McIntyre at Grandest Stage might be plans of WWE pushing Lashley as dominant force.
According to the Wade Keller of PWTorch, the finish of Bobby Lashley vs. Drew McIntyre match at WrestleMania 37 was likely to build up the match between Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar in future. He also stated that fans were behind Drew McIntyre and even though he lost that wasn’t any no-confidence vote in McIntyre.

WWE Universe have been waiting for this dream match between The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar and The Allmighty Bobby Lashley, since Lashley return to WWE in 2018. The current WWE Champion stated multiple times that he wanted to Brock Lesnar and believes that match wi take place in future.
Brock Lesnar’s WWE contract expired last year and he didn’t signed a new contract with the company. There is no clear information about when Brock will return to WWE but fans are waiting to see this dream match.
