WWE is the biggest pro wrestling company and it usually doesn’t indulge in crossovers with other major Wrestling promotions. But now they are changing that perspective to fix the issue of they have with stacked NXT roster.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that WWE is in talks with Major League Wrestling (MLW) for partnership. It was noted that WWE doesn’t like the reputation of not working with other promotions in modern Wrestling World and that made the possible to happen this deal.
The major idea is to get some work in MLW for unused NXT talent on TV. It was also reported that the company’s deal with MLW might looks similar to the EVOLVE deal or ECW deal in 90s.
“WWE doesn’t like the rep that it doesn’t work with anyone in the modern wrestling world. They are in talks with MLW and it’s along the lines of the old Evolve deal or to a degree the 90s ECW deal. The idea is to get some of the developmental guys who aren’t working on NXT television some work.” Meltzer wrote.


If this deal has done, then many talent in NXT would get more exposure on the TV. Dave Meltzer also bottom lined that WWE wants to change the perspective and looking towards modernization. It was also reported that WWE is wants to ‘alleviate the frustration’ of many underutilized talents in the company.
