The five-time WWE Champion Daniel Bryan’s WWE contract expried following his against Universal Champion Roman Reigns and currently, he’s not a active member of WWE roster including his backstage responsibilities.
Now, we got an update out Daniel Bryan. According to the reports from the Ringside News, sources close to them told that Daniel Bryan has a full-time backstage role open for him if he wants but Bryan doesn’t seems interested in it.
Daniel Bryan was a writer on Smackdown brand and it was part-time role. This report also states that tenured member of backstage told them that Bryan doesn’t want a full-time role behind the scenes.
Daniel Bryan is a free agent now without any non-compete clause. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter stated that he can show up at Tokyo Dome show if there’s no travel restrictions. But it was prior to NJPW cancelling all of it’s shows for this month due to Covid-19 outbreak.
It was also exclusively reported by Ringside News that WWE had open communication with Daniel Bryan. WWE sources told them that ‘it will never be hard to fit him back in’ where the storylines concerned and there is open communication between WWE and Bryan but no rush from both the sides to sign a deal.
