The Scottish Warrior Drew McIntyre recently had an interview with DAZN and spoke about several topics including about the current run of Universal Champion Roman Reigns on Smackdown.
Roman Reigns had a blockbuster run ever since he returned to WWE at Summer Slam last year. He aligned with Paul Heyman and won the Universal Championship, since then he’s unstoppable as Head of the Table. Fans and critics loved his new gimmick and his new alliance with Paul Heyman and Jey Uso also helped him to elevate as bad guy.

During the interview, the former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre stated that he’s fan of Roman Reigns in general and his current work as Tribal Chief is ‘believable’. McIntyre believes that currently, they both flipped their roles and also teased a possible match between them in future.
“I’m such a fan of his in general, and especially the work he’s doing right now is believable. He’s feeling it. He knows where he’s at as a character, and it’s pretty much the opposite of what he used to be. Where he used to be is where I’m at right now in being the fighting champion, putting the work, and being the workhorse. It’s interesting how those roles are flipped. I’m excited about the possibility of what we can do down the line because he’s absolutely killing it right now,” said Drew McIntyre.
Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre have feuded eachother multiple times in 2018 and 2019 in WWE. They also faced eachother at last year’s Survivor Series as top champions from the both brands and Roman Reigns came out as top at the end of the match.
