WrestleMania 37 became a huge success with the live fans returning to the arena for the first time after pandemic outbreak. But following the event, WWE moved back to ThunderDome setup to run their weekly Raw and Smackdown shows and also pay-per-views.
And the fans are wondering when WWE will resume it’s proper touring schedule to host Raw, Smackdown, live events and pay-per-views infornt of live fans at different cities. Now, we got an update about the WWE major plans for starting of touring schedule.
According to the WrestleVotes, WWE planning to have Summer Slam 2021 to be the official kick-off of the returning to touring. It was also noted that if that plans were certain then Summer Slam event might take place earlier than usual plan and also 3 to 4 locations are under discussions with one having better odds.
“WWE is looking to have SummerSlam be the official kickoff as a “return to touring.” With that said, if things work out a certain way, the PPV might be even earlier than usual this year. I’ve heard 3 to 4 locations are on the table, with 1 having better odds than the others.”
