From the past few weeks, WWE aired the cryptic promos of Aleister Black reading a book of “Tales of The Dark Father” and on last week’s Smackdown, he made surprise appearance during the fatal four-way IC Title match.
He interrupted during the match and attacked Big E with Black Mass. Then, Apollo Crews pinned Big E to successfully retain his Intercontinental Championship. So, what’s next for former NXT Champion Black.

According to the Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE weren’t going to change the title and they set up the program between Aleister Black and Big E. It seems clear that Black is heel now after his attack on Big E.
“It was a TV match and they weren’t going to change the title and they were going to move Big E to Aleister Black — that’s the program, so that’s how they set up the new program. They weren’t going to change the title, so that’s what they wanted.” (H/T: Ringside News)
It would be interesting to see the feud between Big E and Aleister Black. It was Black first appearance after a long hiatus and let’s see who will come top of their rivalry.
