Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler successfully defended their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 37 against #1 contenders Tamina Snuka and Natalya. And WWE is continuing their storyline following the WrestleMania event.
It looks like Natalya and Tamina Snuka will get another shot to the Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania Backlash and likely they will put down Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler for the titles.
On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed about the current booking of WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles and stated that WrestleMania fans made the current booking of the tag team titles match.
He stated that Tamina got cheered at WrestleMania and that made the company to do one more time as fans were behind Tamina Snuka and Natalya.
“They did the match, so now what to do at the next pay-per-view. Well, Tamina was getting cheered at WrestleMania, so she’s the one that’s over, so let’s do it again. I mean, the WrestleMania fans were probably the ones who made this match actually.” (H/T: Ringside News)
On this week’s WWE Friday Night Smackdown, Natalya and Tamina Snuka got the huge victory against the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. So, it’s likely that they will get title opportunity and that’s possibly happen at WrestleMania Backlash. Let’s see this time will Natalya and Tamina will dethrone the Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.
