WWE Friday Night Smackdown Full Results (May 14th, 2021)

– Megan Morant at backstage with Cesaro and he says he’s very confident about defeating Roman Reigns on Sunday at WrestleMania Backlash but he doesn’t think he can win the Universal title…he knows he can.

– Kayla Braxton at backstage with Rey Mysterio and Dominik. Rey says they are close to winning the tag team titles, they feel it and he’s ready to win the tag team gold with his son. Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode interrupts them and had some words.

– Smackdown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair makes her way to the ring. Micheal Cole interviews Binaca Belair and he brings up match against Bayley at WrestleMania Backlash. Belair talks about shining and getting hate, and how people doubted her for whole life. Then, Belair asks where Bayley is tonight? Cole he figured Belair would have asked that and shows the video of last week’s Bayley attack on Belair.

Then, Bayley appeares on big screen, joins them via satellite and both have some words exchange. Bayley says he won’t be in the ring with Belair after last week’s vicious attack, unless this Sunday at WrestleMania Backlash, where she will take title from Bianca. Then, Bianca says this Sunday it’s going to be roughest, toughest and quickest victory. Bayley starts laughing.

Belair says Bayley is made because she got taken care of WWE Hall Of Famers Bella Twins at WrestleMania 37, while she was in main event and won the Smackdown Women’s Championship. Then, Bayley gaves a serious warning to the champ and says she will end Belair for good this Sunday.

– King Baron Corbin defeated Shinsuke Nakamura via Pinfall. After the match, Corbin celebrates in the ring and out his crown on his head but Shinsuke Nakamura attacked him from behind and hits Kinshasa. Then, Nakamura took the crown and put it over head and celebrates.

– Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville at backstage, Apollo Crews and Azeez interrupts them. Crews was furious about Nigerian Medal of Honor ceremony getting interrupted. Adam Pearce is trying to figure out who will be the next challenger for Apollo Crews. He says it will be Apollo Crews vs. Kevin Owens vs. Big E vs. Sami Zyan in fatal four-way match for IC Title on next week’s Smackdown. Apollo was furious and walks off with Azeez. There are some tensions between Pearce and Sonya.

– We got the new Vignette of Aleister Black and he reads another chapter from his book ‘Tales from the Dark Father’. ‘The Lesson’ is the chapter name. He talks about the trail by fire and how it will consume and cleanse you. He says his father spoke about cruelties of life and taught him The Lesson. He was taught he was wronged. He says it’s easier to take a seat to watch life but it’s hard to take action against it. He says he could help and teach a lesson but he won’t as you’re not a participant, you’re a spectator.

– Cesaro defeated Jimmy Uso via disqualification. At the closing moments, Tribal Chief Roman Reigns attacked Cesaro and caused disqualification. After the match, Jimmy Uso yells at Roman Reigns as he had full control of the match. Jimmy stroms off and Reigns follows him. They both arguing on the ramp and Jey Uso watches it from the ring.

Jimmy says Roman Reigns always thinks it’s about himself but now it’s not. Cesaro attacks Jey Uso in the ring and Reigns made him save and took out Cesaro. Reigns calls Jimmy to get in the ring to help them but Cesaro unloads on Reigns but Jey took out Cesaro. Jey yells at Jimmy to get into the ring to help them. Cesaro then took out Jey and goes on against Reigns but Reigns retreats to the floor.

Jimmy also knocked off on apron by Cesaro. Then, Cesaro points towards Roman Reigns and hits Neutralizer on Jey Uso. Cesaro taunts Reigns and Reigns raises his Universal Championship and Smackdown goes off air.
