Tonight’s WWE Friday Night Smackdown is live from WWE ThunderDome at Yuengling Center at Orlando, Florida. WWE announced two matches for tonight’s show.
After Jimmy Uso returning to Smackdown, it was the first The Usos set for action that Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso will take on Street Profits in tag team match.
The new Smackdown Tag Team Champions Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio set to defend their tag titles against Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode on tonight’s show.
Here The WWE Friday Night Smackdown Full Matches And Results With Short Review:
– The Usos at backstage and talking to eachother for their match against Street Profits and Roman Reigns walks in. Reigns asks if they are ready and what’s the game plan, the end game. Jimmy says the plan is to win and this is how they are going to make the family proud. Reigns says Jimmy got figured out it all and he’s happy for him. Reigns wishes good luck for them and Jimmy Uso walks off.
Jey Uso looks worried and Reigns asks what’s wrong and if Jimmy speaks for him now. Jey was in deep thought and says if though he was with Jimmy tonight, Reigns knows he also with him too. Reigns says maybe Jey should tell that to Jimmy and Jey walks off still looks worried.
– Th Street Profits make their way to the ring and cuts the promo about The Usos. But music interrupts, here comes the Usos and two teams had words exchange between them. Jimmy says the best damn tag team in the business are back and it’s no matter how long he has been gone for. Jey says he will drop the Street Profits if they say one more word about Universal Champion Roman Reigns because this is a family business and they put their nose in it.
Jey Uso says Street Profits are calling this a dream match via social media and well, welcome to the nightmare. Jimmy goes on about how they are step closer to becoming the 7-time tag team champions. Dawkins had a huge praise for how they used to ran the tag team division but Street Profits now run the division. The Usos fire back and welcomes The Street Profits to The Uso Penitentiary.
– The Usos defeated Street Profits via Pinfall. After the match, The Usos celebrates and head to the ramp while Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford looks disappointed in the ring.
– Megan Morant at backstage with former Smackdown Tag Team Champions Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode. They talks about tonight’s rematch for Smackdown Tag Team Titles and says tonight will be different because they’re pros and do want they want to get back their tag team titles.
– Natalya and Tamina Snuka defeated The Riott Squad via Pinfall in non-title match. After the match, Tamina helped Natalya to get on feet and left to ringside. Riott Squad looks frustrated while the champs hold the titles.
– The Usos at backstage with WWE Producer Adam Pearce and brings up their hugs win against Street Profits. Pearce says Street Profits are good but it’s hard to deny The Usos. Jimmy Uso says whoever wins tonight’s Smackdown Tag Team Titles match, they wants them next. Then, Adam Pearce make it official for next week’s Smackdown. Jimmy Uso walks in excitement buy Jey looks worried like earlier.
– Binaca Belair defeated Carmella via Pinfall in non-title match. After the match, Binaca Belair stands tall and raises her Smackdown Women’s Championship. Bayley stood top on the annouce table and yells at Belair.
– Megan Morant at backstage with Smackdown Tag Team Champions Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio. They says they have have a game plan for tonight’s title defense. They goes on about how their motivation is incomparable right now. Dominik says there is no way to lose their titles tonight and there is no team in the world to top this.
– Seth Rollins in the ring and says that he’s not here to talk tonight. He came to fight and calls out Cesaro so they can finish what they have going on. Seth says Cesaro isn’t coming out because he isn’t here tonight. Ofcourse, Cesaro isn’t here to disrespect him, swing him or look past him. Cesaro is not here to ruin the greatest day of the year – Seth Rollins birthday.
Seth Rollins shows the video of what happened last week to Cesaro and says it’s hard to watch but it’s not worst. He says he got some exclusive audio of Cesaro from hospital but it’s a joke. Rollins says in all seriousness that what happened last week to Cesaro was unfortunate. Seth continues that Cesaro pushed him to a place where he didn’t know and he deserves every part of blame because he put himself in this situation.
Rollins goes on and says he’s the man of integrity and we have to place some of the blame on you looking at camera. Seth says the fans watching from home are the ones who brainwashed Cesaro making him believe that it’s ok to disrespect Rollins, into believing he can look right through Rollins, into believing he deserves opportunities he simply did not earn.
Seth Rollins further says if Cesaro ever steps into the ring, the blame is on Cesaro and fans. Rollins says the blame is on his hand because he’s clean, but fans hands are filthy. Seth Rollins wishes himself Happy Birthday again and starts singing. He tosses the mic and exits the ring to back.
– Kevin Owens defeated Apollo Crews via disqualification in non-title match. At the closing moments, Commander Azeez attacked Owens and caused disqualification. After the match, Owens screaming in pain while Azeez and Crews watching him from the ramp.
– Roman Reigns at Backstage and Paul Heyman walks in and brings up Jey Uso. Reigns talks about Usos title shot next week’s and asks if that’s what he wants to do. Reigns asks why Jey told him he’s still with him earlier. What happened to we? Reigns everything they have gone through these months, he only wanted best for Jey, that’s all what he mattered, doing right for Jey and the family.
Reigns says they will figure it out when it comes to Jimmy Uso but Jey is Main Event Uso, when they go according to the Roman Reigns plan. As soon as his brother Jimmy Uso comes back they got stuck in the opening match. Reigns says he doesn’t want Jey to go back the place where people look at him and wonder which brother he is. Jey shakes his head and says he hasn’t thought about it like that. Reigns says Jey should think like that because he’s brother Jimmy isn’t.
– Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Chad Gable via Pinfall. During the match, King Corbin showed up at ringside and took the crown, which was stolen by Nakamura few weeks back. After the match, King Corbin stands on the ramp with his crown and yells at Nakamura. Suddenly, Rick Boogs attacked Corbin from behind and he rolls towards the ring. Nakamura took the crown and out in his head. He stood tall with Boogs and poses with him.
– Kevin Owens at trainer room still grasping air and Adam Pearce shows up. Owens says he wants Intercontinental Championship Match against Apollo Crews next week and Pearce make it official. He also revealed that Azeez will be banned from ringside.
– Dominik Mysterio and Rey Mysterio defeated Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode via Pinfall and successfully retained their tag team titles. After the match, The Mysterios celebrating the ring but The Usos interrupts them. Both the teams facing off eachother hyping up next week’s title match.
We see Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman watching from Backstage. The Usos staring at the Champs and talking trash while Rey and Dominik raising their title on the ring. Friday Night Smackdown goes off air while Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman watching The Usos from backstage.
