The former NXT Champion Finn Balor recently appeared as special guest on Ryan Satin’s Out of Character podcast and discussed about several topics including his main roster future.

Finn Balor stated that he grew up watching WWE and that’s essential where he wants to perform. Hs said that he didn’t do justice for his last main roster run and wanted to change something and that’s NXT. He clarified that he will return to Raw or Smackdown in future.

“Absolutely, absolutely,” he said. “I grew up as a wrestling fan watching WWE, and that’s essentially where I want to be performing. I feel like in my last run there I wasn’t doing myself justice and needed to change something. The change was NXT and I needed to figure out who I was again, and I managed to do that to some level, and I am definitely hopeful that a return to RAW or SmackDown will happen in the future.” (H/T: Sportskeeda)


In 2016, Finn Balor made his main roster debut and within a month he won the Inaugural Universal Championship at Summer Slam 2016 by defeating Seth Rollins. But following episode on Raw, relinquished his title due to injury.
Later, he also won Intercontinental Championship twice in 2019. And in his last match on main roster came against The Fiend Bray Wyatt at Summer Slam 2019, in which he lost and later her moved back to NXT.
Currently, he involved in feud with Karrion Kross and lost his NXT Title to Kross at NXT Takeover: Stand And Deliver. On this week’s WWE NXT, he got his rematch for NXT Title but he unsuccessful to regain it back.
