There were a lot of rumors surfaced around the internet about 16-time World Champion John Cena’s return to WWE. Recently, WWE announced the return of touring and live events infront of live fans starts from July 16th in Houston, Texas.
From the recent reports, WWE is trying to bring back The Leader of Cenation John Cena for the first show infront of live audience after pandemic on July 16th epsiode of Smackdown. Now, we got an another update about return of John Cena.
According to the PWInsider via CageSideSeats, John Cena’s WWE return on July 16th wasn’t confirmed yet but it was confirmed that production of John Cena’s TV show Peacemaker will end on July 6th. So, Cena will be free from then and there is a possibility of his return on Smackdown.
While PW Insider couldn’t confirm talks of John Cena returning to WWE, they did confirm production on the show he’s working on, Peacemaker, ends on July 6, shortly before WWE is set to hit the road again.
John Cena’s last appearance came at WrestleMania 36, in which he faced The Fiend Bray Wyatt in Firefly Fun House match. It was expected that former WWE Champion might return at WrestleMania 37 but it wasn’t happen due to his prior commitments.
