The Nature Boy Ric Flair recently had an interview with ESPN MMA’s Ariel Helwani and spoke about several topics including his recent storyline with Lacey Evans and Charlotte Flair.
Ric Flair and Lacey Evans recently engaged in a romantic storyline on Monday Night Raw, in which we saw he betraying his daughter Charlotte Flair and helping Lacey Evans. It also received lot of criticism from the fans.

During the show, Ric Flair was asked about whether he comfortable with the Lacey Evans Storyline, then, he stated that he felt uncomfortable with it. And his daughter Charlotte Flair also definitely didn’t like it. WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair also mentioned that throughout his entire career he pretty much agreed to everything.
“In this instance, I didn’t [have a problem with it],” said Flair. “The one thing I’ve learned is you’re not gonna win a war when someone got their mind made up and she most definitely didn’t like it. But you know, the one thing I can say about me is, I always said yes. Because I didn’t wanna be that guy that was always going, ‘Oh god, that isn’t perfect for me.'”
” I don’t know if you’ve followed my career, but I’ve been buried in the desert by Russo,” Flair continued. “I’ve had my head shaved. I mean, if you look at the other top guys that are in the industry, whether it’s Shawn or Hunter or Undertaker or Bret Hart, whatever, nobody has gone through all this. I’ve done everything.” (H/T: Fightful)
However, that storyline ended abruptly after Lacey Evans legitimately getting pregnant and Ric Flair was taken off from the WWE following that. Now, Charlotte Flair is focusing on her singles career and at WWE WrestleMania Backlash, she facing Rhea Ripley and Asuka for Raw Women’s Championship this Sunday.
