NXT UK Champion WALTER recently appeared as special guest on WWE’s After The Bell podcast hosted by Corey Graves and discussed about several topics including his dream matches in WWE.
WALTER said that he always love to have match with Daniel Bryan. He also had huge praise for Cesaro and wanted to work with him too. Regarding NXT, he wanted to face former NXT Champion Finn Balor in one-on-one match.
“When I first got into watching other wrestling, I was watching Ring of Honor. A lot of those guys are the top guys in WWE right now. Daniel Bryan is a match I would want to do. Obviously, Cesaro. Never work with (Cesaro). He’s a great role model for all of us German-speaking talent. He’s always been super supportive. As soon as we stepped foot in WWE, he reached his hand out to all of us. He’s a fantastic wrestler. Regarding NXT, the one match I wanted before COVID was Finn Balor. Those are the three.” (H/T: Fightful)
WALTER is the longest reigning NXT UK Champion and he successfully defended his title against several opponents. He also retained his NXT UK Championship against Tommaso Ciampa at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver and that hard-hitting match got a huge praise.
