WWE reportedly signed Eva Marie in September 2020 but she wasn’t officially added to WWE internal roster until January 2021. WWE was hyping Eva Marie with series of vignettes on Monday Night Raw and there were many questions regarding her plans.
According to the Fightful Select, WWE current working plan for Eva Marie isn’t for wrestling but they want to use her as ‘vehicle’ to put over another female talent.
The working plan isn’t for her to wrestle, but to use as a vehicle to help get another female talent over.
This report also states that WWE had been working for Eva Marie’s return to WWE TV way long back before her vignettes aired on WWE TV and it was in no way a response to the company releasing many female talents.
