WWE regularly hosting Pay-Per-View events at Saudi Arabia since 2018 but due to pandemic outbreak company didn’t go to Saudi Arabia to host the WWE events. Now, it seems that things going to change very soon.
According to the Wrestling Observer Radio reports, Joshua and Tyson Fury locked August 14th date for their big fight and it will be reportedly hosted in Saudi Arabia. He further stated that if Saudi Arabia willing to bring them then they might plan to bring WWE before the end of this year.
“The big thing with Joshua and Fury is that their date is August 14th and it’s in Saudi Arabia. So, if Saudi Arabia is willing to bring them in, then that means they are gonna bring WWE in before the end of the year.” (H/T: Ringside News)
But nothing yet confirmed officially about a return to Saudi Arabia. WWE last hosted Super Show Down event at Saudi Arabia in February 27th, 2020, in which Goldberg defeated The Fiend Bray Wyatt in the main event to win Universal Champion. After that WWE didn’t host any events at Saudi Arabia due to pandemic outbreak.
