WWE Tuesday Night NXT Full Results (May 18th, 2021)

• Pete Dunne’s exclusive interview

– Toni Strom defeated Zoey Stark via Pinfall. After the match, Toni Strom stands tall in the ring and lights goes off, Franky Monet appears on the stage. Toni Strom stares at her and Monet poses on the ring.

– Mitchell McKenzie at backstage with Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde and asks about Santos Escobar. They tell don’t worry about him and they are her to ask about when they will get NXT Tag Team Title shot. Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher appeares and both had words wand that led match between both teams later.

– We see Cameron Grimes arriving at parking lot earlier and throws keys to Jake Atlas to park the car. But Atlas gave back keys and said WWE Hall of Famer Ted DiBiase is the only one with a parking spot upfront. Grimes says it’s probably funny but the real fun is when he kick him in the ring.

– We see the new NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae are at spa, getting massage and facials. Dexter Lumis is the one massaging Indi’s head and she didn’t know about it. Candice says Lumis is just a creepy loser who stares at Indi when he sees here. Indi thanked Candice for helping her to see the truth about Lumis. Dexter Lumis stops massaging and walks off.

– NXT aired the prime target video of Finn Balor and Karrion Kross for their NXT Championship Match next week.

– Jake Atlas defeated Cameron Grimes via Pinfall. At the closing moments, Ted DeBiase came out and distracted Grimes. Atlas took the advantage and rolls up Grimes for pin and got the victory.

After the match, Ted DeBiase starts laughing and Grimes was furious on apron. Atlas kicks him to the floor, Grimes stumbles as Ted walks off to back. Grimes follows him and approaches limousine and yellsat Ted to open the door. But Ted rolls down the window, says “Not bad kid, but you’re still no Million Dollar Man!” and laughs and left in his car.

– We see the Arash Markazi sit-down interview with Pete Dunne. Arash Markazi asks about Pete Dunne recent calling out NXT roster and asks about any specific Superstar he wants to face. Then, Pete says he might face NXT Cruiserweight Champion Kushida and NXT North American Champion Johnny Gargano, and says he could also go back to NXT UK to take back the NXT UK Title from WALTER. He wants to challenge for Karrion Kross’ NXT Title as well.

Pete talks about respect and how he came up with his physical style. He also talks about influence of Fit Finlay. Then, Pete was asked about where he wants to see himself in 1 year or 5 years. Pete Dunne says he used to set the goals but now he’s taking opportunities. He continued that at this point of time in his career he wants to win NXT Title.

– Killian Dain defeated Alexander Wolfe via Pinfall. After the match, Dain and Drake Maverick left to back and Wolfe in the ring. IMPERIUM’s Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner tried to help him to get up but Wolfe didn’t want their help. Suddenly, Barthel and Fabian attacked Wolfe and poses in the ring.

– McKenzie Mitchell at backstage with NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez along with Dakota Kai. Mitchell asks about Mercedes Martinez having respect for Raquel Gonzalez on last week’s post-show segment in trainer room. Gonzalez says to don’t stir up the things, she defeated Martinez how she said. Kai says they are going after NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles again. Ever-Rise interrupts and jokes around them, Gonzalez slaps Matt Martel and walks off.

– Legado Del Fantasma defeated Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher via Pinfall.

– McKenzie Mitchell at backstage with Bobby Fish. He says his last week’s return had very little to do with Kyle O’Reilly but everything with Pete Dunne and Oney Lorcan who put him at shelf at War Games. Bobby Fish cuts promo about Pete Dunne and Challenged him for a match on next week’s NXT so they can finish their unfinished business.

– Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell finished their spa day and an employee came in, says Candice’s credit card is declined. Then, she called credit card company and they said she had some issues with unpaid expenses. They thought it was Austin Theory charging pizzas but spa employee says it was some kind of charge to florist about 3 weeks back.

Indi Hartwell thinking about it and puts all together and wonders Ember Moon and Shotzi BlackHeart got flowers from Dexter Lumis or Candice LeRae. Indi asks Candice if she realises what this mean? He still loves me. She yells and run away that Dexter still love her.

– Sarray defeated Aliyah via Pinfall.

– We got the video of Ember Moon and Shotzi BlackHeart cutting promo about NXT Women’s Champions Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell.

– “Top Dolla” AJ Francis and Ashante “Thee” Adonis defeated Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari via Pinfall.

– McKenzie Mitchell at backstage with NXT General Manager William Regal. He reveals Legado Del Fantasma are the #1 contenders for NXT Tag Team Titles and they will face MSK in two weeks. Regal says there is lot of opportunities in NXT right now and they have the greatest women’s division in the World. He also spoke about bringing up new talent next week and who will step up to challenge NXT Cruiserweight Champion Kushida. William Regal also announced that next week Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell will defend their tag team titles against Ember Moon and Shotzi BlackHeart.

– Bronson Reed defeated Johnny Gargano via Pinfall in Steel Cage Match and became the new NXT North American Champion. After the match, Bronson Reed had emotional celebration and NXT goes off air.
