Recently, there were many rumors surrounding around the internet about the John Cena’s WWE return. It was expected that 16-time World Champion John Cena might return to WWE to face Universal Champion Roman Reigns at Summer Slam 2021 event.
The Fast & Furious 9 star John Cena recently appeared as special guest on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon and discussed about several topics. While speaking, Cena was asked about rumours of his in-ring return.
Then, the Leader of Cenation John Cena confirmed that he’s definitely coming back to WWE but didn’t know when.
“Those rumours are true. I will definitely be back to the WWE, I just don’t know when.”
During the interview, Jimmy Fallon also brought up about his last month Instagram post, when he posted a picture of WWE logo. Then, Cena stated that he just wanted to post the logo and fans thought that he’s returning immediately. He also stated that he haven’t had his last match but can’t wait for his next match.
“Yeah, I posted that back in May. I was feeling rather nostalgic about the WWE, and I just wanted to post the logo. Some people took it as I was returning immediately, which is not the case.
