The 16-time World Champion John Cena last WWE appearance came at WrestleMania 36, in which he battled The Fiend Bray Wyatt in Firefly Fun House Match. Since then he wasn’t seen on WWE TV but recently there were reports that John Cena returning back to WWE soon.
The Leader of Cenation John Cena recently had an interview with Jimmy Fallon and talked about his potential return. Following that, WWE of BT Sport tweeted a picture of John Cena with a quote about his return from the interview, in which he stated he didn’t have last match and looking forward for his next match.
Then, the Hurt Business member MVP took the Twitter and reacted to that tweet about John Cena’s potential WWE return. MVP warned Cena to be careful for what he wish. Check the tweet below:
It obviously seem that MVP teasing a match between the Allmighty WWE Champion Bobby Lashley and John Cena. However, from the recent rumours suggest that John Cena return might be leading to face Universal Champion Roman Reigns at WWE Summer Slam 2021 event
Cena’s schedule clears up in the beginning of July, which would allow him to return to #WWE in time for the return of fans. I believe it was @AndrewZarian who first mentioned this possibility a few weeks ago. #WWE
There were also other speculations that Brock Lesnar might be returning to face Bobby Lashley at Summer Slam event but Dave Meltzer stated that currently WWE didn’t have such plans. So, it will be interesting to see who will be the opponent for Bobby Lashley at WWE’s biggest event of summer.
